What is the reason of QuickBooks Error code 176109?

When user trying to open or register Point of Sale, the user sees the following error:
Error Code 176109: Invalid Product Code or Invalid Product Number
Reason:
  • Maybe You Point of Sale Entitlement folder contains corrupted files.
  • Not using correct product code during installation of QuickBooks Point of Sale for Desktop.
  • Maybe user not logged in to Windows as an administrator

To fix this issue follow given solutions:
Solution1: Delete the contents of the entitlement client folder.
Solution2: Rename the WSActivity file.
